Why Ask Major

Ask Major started because I got tired of businesses forgetting that people matter.

Too often, technology help feels rushed, impersonal, and focused on the quickest fix — not understanding.

The “quick fix” might solve today’s problem, but it doesn’t help anyone feel more confident tomorrow.

And honestly… that approach just doesn’t sit right with me.

I wanted to fix things and explain them.
To help people learn, not feel embarrassed.
To grow together, not just move on to the next ticket.

Ask Major exists to slow things down a bit — in a good way.

What Sparked This

This idea had been quietly building for a long time.

I’ve spent years in the professional rat race, doing solid work but often feeling like just another number.

While I’ve always stayed active in church, prison ministry, and serving on the board for my son’s Heroes group, I still felt a clear pull to do more —

something that directly served people in a personal, human way.

Then one night, lying in bed after listening to a cousin’s podcast, it finally clicked.

This wasn’t about starting a business just to make money.
It was about creating something meaningful — something that could serve others now, and maybe even become a place for my son to belong and contribute when he’s older.

That’s when Ask Major stopped being an idea and became a calling.

What Ask Major Feels Like

Ask Major is meant to feel like family.

Like sitting at the kitchen table with someone you trust.
Like asking a question without worrying if it’s “dumb.”
Like getting help from someone who actually listens.

We aim to be:

  • Trustworthy

  • Honest

  • Safe

  • Helpful

And maybe even a little reassuring when technology feels overwhelming.

What We’re Not

Ask Major is not:

  • Tech-jargon heavy

  • Salesy

  • Upselling things you don’t need

If something can be fixed simply, we’ll fix it simply.
If something can be explained clearly, we’ll explain it clearly.

No pressure. No judgment. No nonsense.

Why “Ask Major”

Ask Major is inspired by our son, Major, who shows us the value of meeting people where they are.

Everyone learns differently. Everyone processes differently. And everyone deserves help that respects that.

That belief is at the heart of everything we do.

Giving Back

We believe business can — and should — do good.

That’s why 10% of all revenue is donated quarterly to nonprofit organizations that support individuals with special needs and their families.

When you use Ask Major, you’re not just getting help — you’re becoming part of something that gives back quietly and intentionally.

One Last Thing

Ask Major isn’t about being the biggest.
It’s about being present.

If you’re looking for patient, judgment-free tech help from a real human who genuinely cares — you’re in the right place.

Welcome to Ask Major.
